Initially formed in October 2011 as the “English Ministry of Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church” (CHPC), we re-launched as “Sojourn Fellowship South Jersey” in July 2012 with a small group of 8 men and women.
Since then, God has been very faithful to our church, and we have seen 6 years of growth and change!
Our name “Sojourn” has several meanings, the best known definition being “journey.” The word “sojourn” also has a connection to the word, “redemption.” So, essentially, what our name means, and what we desire as a church, is for us to be a community that experiences the redeeming power of the Gospel in our journey from death to life, from bondage to freedom.
The Vision of Sojourn Fellowship is to love God, and to love others. Beyond that, we desire to be a church that provides a place of healing for those who are suffering, a place of growth for those who feel stuck, and a place of light where there is darkness.
